Privacy Policy

01Who I am

I'm Naimur Rahman Hira, a web developer, UI/UX designer and DevOps engineer based in Bangladesh. I run this website myself.

If you have a question about your information, send it through the contact form on the home page and I'll reply.

02What I collect

Only three kinds of information come through this site.

• Contact form details. If you send me a message, I receive your name, your email address and your message.
• Basic technical data. Like most websites, the company that hosts this site may keep simple server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you opened. This helps keep the site running and spot abuse.
• Spam checks. When you use the contact form, the site briefly checks your IP address and browser to block automated spam. This lives in the server's memory for a short time and is not saved as a record.

03How I use it

I use your details to reply to your message and to keep this site safe and working. That's all.

I don't sell your information, and I don't use it for ads.

04Who else can see it

A few services help me run this site, so they handle some of your information:

• Google Analytics, which collects anonymous data about how visitors use the site, like which pages get visited and how long people stay. Google processes this under its own privacy policy.
• Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymous session replays and heatmaps so I can see where people click and scroll. Clarity doesn't collect personal information. You can read more in Microsoft's privacy statement.
• Resend, the email service that delivers contact form messages to my inbox.
• Tally, the form service behind the optional feedback form. If you choose to fill it in, Tally stores what you send, such as your name, role, photo and feedback.
• My hosting provider, which serves this website and keeps the server logs mentioned above.

I don't share your information with anyone else, unless the law requires me to.

This site also links to other websites, such as Freelancer, Figma, GitHub and Gumroad. They have their own privacy policies, and I'm not responsible for how they handle your data.

05Cookies, analytics and local storage

This site uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use it. Both tools may set cookies in your browser to tell visits apart. They collect things like which pages you view, how long you stay, and general info about your device and location. None of this is tied to your name or email.

Google Analytics uses cookies to measure traffic. You can opt out by installing Google's browser add-on or adjusting your cookie settings. Microsoft Clarity records how visitors interact with the page (clicks, scrolls, mouse movement) but doesn't identify you personally.

Beyond analytics, the site saves two small notes in your browser's local storage: your light or dark theme choice, and whether you've already seen the feedback pop-up, so it doesn't keep asking. You can clear both anytime in your browser settings.

I don't run any ad trackers on this site.

06How long I keep it

Messages stay in my email inbox for as long as I need them to reply and to keep a record of our conversation. If we work together, I may keep project messages for longer.

If you ask me to delete your messages, I will, unless I need to keep something for legal or accounting reasons.

07Your choices

You can ask me what information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Send your request through the contact form and I'll deal with it as soon as I can.

08Security

This site uses a secure connection (HTTPS), and I limit who can open the inbox that receives your messages. No website or email system is completely safe though, so I can't promise perfect security.

09Children

This site is for adults and businesses. It isn't meant for children, and I don't knowingly collect their information.

10Changes to this page

If I change this policy, I'll update the date at the top of the page. Please check back now and then.
